Beer Coasters The Clownin' Around Issue

Come here and pull my finger!  That's right, we're Clownin' Around on the show this week.  We stick a red nose on our face and lace up our Clown Shoes!  Nothing but beers from Clown Shoes Brewing out of Ipswich, MA.  And we are trying all of them!!  Well, for now, they only make three - but we're drinking them all!!

First, we enter the big top, grab some popcorn and crack open the Clementine White Ale.  From there, we freak out a couple of little kids with the Brown Angel Double Brown Ale.  And finally, after squirting some poor old lady in the face with a water squirting flower on our lapel, we taste Hoppy Feet Black IPA.  Check out our food pairings this week too.

Before the Celebrity Tweet Of The Week, we discuss distribution and Craft Beer in America.  A very special thanks to Jesse at Clown Shoes for hooking us up this week.  We hope you all enjoy.  Cheers!

Beer Coasters The Barrel Aged Issue

Welcome to yet another issue of the Beer Coasters Podcast.  This week, we're rollin' out the barrels for a "Beer On Wood" show.  You're in for a treat folks because the beers we try are all wonderful offerings from some of todays great American Brewers.  During the Fermentation Conversation, the boys are staying with the grain and trying Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout.  A new segment is introduced this week with some New Releases in the Craft Beer World.

Out West, Toby tries his hand (with a little help from Crazy Dave) at being a cooper with Russian River's Supplication.  Centrally located Chris is pulling the bung out of Great Divide's 16th Anniversary Wood Aged DIPA. And finally, Mike hacks down the "Smoke From The Oak" Wine Barrel Aged beer from Captain Lawrence.

Thanks again for listening.  If you found us in iTunes, check out the website(www.beercoasterspodcast.com).  If you're listening at our website, subscribe in iTunes.  Cheers!!

Beer Coasters The Catcher In The Rye

"I was half in love with it by the time I sat down.  That's the thing about beer.  Every time it does something pretty, even if it's not much to look at, or even if it's sort of stupid, you fall half in love with it, and then you never know where the hell you are. Beer. Jesus Christ.  It can drive you crazy.  It really can".

On this week's show, we are tasting Rye beers.  Chris and Mike ignore Toby's previous review of Bear Republic's Hop Rod Rye and try it for themselves.  Back in Boston, Mike sails the Mayflower with their Summer Rye Ale.  Reppin' West Coast, Toby finally gets to try the Rugbrød from OC's The Bruery.  Chris in Dallas revisits Real Ale and tries the Full Moon Pale Rye Ale.  We go back to the old Hop Topic format for a sec and take some "Old School" advice from Beer Coaster Mike.

We even get a visit from an old friend and contributor of the show...

Please enjoy, Cheers!
